Find out more about SRJC Black Student Union, UMOJA Groups, and community events.
Black Student Union
The Black Student Union serves to establish an unshakeable bond between black students, black faculty and the general Santa Rosa Junior College community to promote the development of educational opportunities and to increase awareness of black culture. The group provides a central forum for the open dialogue of political, spiritual, cultural, economic, social and academic conditions in the black community.
Who Can Join?
All students from all walks of life are invited to join the BSU to learn more about black culture. The BSU exists to enhance cultural and political awareness, and to provide social events and support for students.
BSU celebrates new members because each person strengthens the group's dedicated effort in building the community and encouraging all to work collectively at continuing student success.
